Human bones were discovered while diging a cable trench just north of the ruins of St Ethelbert’s Church. The bones lay 0.50m below the level of the cable trench. The remains were not quite articulated and included the ribs and fragments of a skull of a small individual, probably a child. The bones were recorded and left in situ.
