A World War Two Type 22 pillbox survives in a hedgeline to the south of Loddon. It has been recorded on the ground, is visible on aerial photographs, and is depicted by modern Ordnance Survey maps. Its loopholes are of an unusual form.

Pill box.
Hexagonal, concrete, in hedge on hilltop (now by bypass).
