This was the site of a small medieval settlement which declined from the late medieval period into the post medieval period. Fieldwalking and metal detecting have recovered an Early Saxon brooch and medieval and post medieval pottery.

4 medieval/late medieval glazed.

Bow and part of foot of Early Saxon long brooch, probably cruciform; deep long catch plate indicates this may be a group I.
