Name:Possible site of the Great Mill of Priory Manor, a medieval watermill


Pieces of medieval pot and lava millstone were found at the site of a medieval mill in 1954. Sections of the stone walls of the mill still survive. This has been interpreted as the site of the Great Mill of Priory Manor recorded in documents dating to 1269.
