Full description

About 1932..Found together during ploughing.
Late Bronze Age hoard: two socketed axes, palstave, four pieces cake or scrap.

1905. Same location.
'Ornamented bronze celt' (probably triple ribbed palstave, looped and'small bronze with six spikes on top' (casting jet).
Also possibly from this location;
Bronze brooch and ring. Finds in Cambridge Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography.

From information given in file this must also be the findspot of the white patinated polished discoidal knife 'Found between Weeting and Mundford near cross roads to Weeting at corner of which stands building belonging to school of forestry; in trench dividing two fields planted in 1932 by School of Forestry. Bought from Morely RR Clarke' formerly wrongly entered under NHER 5594.
