An inhumation was found in 1973 during the digging of foundations. The skeleton is that of a woman, and has been dated to the Late Neolithic period.

Full description

22 November 1973.
Human skeleton found at depth of 0.8m (2'9") by workmen digging bungalow foundations.
Police and E. James (KLM) visited site and found crouched burial which C.P.B. Wells called late Neolithic.
Female, 35 to 45.
