Full description

Cross. Base and shaft at Four-Cross-Ways. Stands on grassed mound.

Mound is about 1.5m high. Cross is set on plinth of bricks, some ? 18th century, some modern, which have flaked. Cross-base has stop angles. Chamfered shaft about 2.5m in height. Spherical knob on top apparently now attached by bitumen or similar. Cross head missing. Base surrounded by flower bed.
Good condition, but evidence that people have been tieing notices to it.

Revised schedule includes the mound which it states is contemporary with the cross.
