Summary
The building dates back to the 16th or early 17th century but only a small part of the original building is now visible after extensive 19th century alterations. The building has stepped gables, ornate chimneys, pedimented windows and a two storey porch tower.

Full description
Basic 16th century building; only north gable wall now visible of original work.
Two small windows, one blocked, one with brick mullion; wall of flint and brick.
Two storeyed porch perhaps basically original.
Otherwise all 19th century in red brick and tile with stepped gables, tall ornate chimneys and pinnacles.

19th century remodelling of early 17th century building. Two storeys with one storey wing to south. Early 17th century two storey porch with ore-topper gable, three light ovolo-mullioned window and moulded and chamfered door frame, Brick rectangular hood moulds over openings. Pediments over some first floor windows. Evidence of earlier brick and flint work in north gable with two 2-light window with drip moulds, one opening blocked.
