Summary
The remains of a garden folly or dovecote exist here, in the form of a round tower with a brick base. It currently stands about 4m high but was once nearly 8m high with a dome and decorative stained glass. It probably dates to the late 19th century and was likely associated with the Manor House.

Full description
Remains of folly. On west corner of drive to Manor House.
Round tower; flint base, above this brick, with slit windows, corbelled out at present top approximately 4m (13ft) high.
Formerly nearer 7.6m (25ft) high with dome and upper storey decorated with coloured glass. Top blown down January 1976. Has been sealed at new roof level. Probably of 1870 (date of Manor House).
Visited by E. Rose (NAU) 16 March 1977.
A. Maddock (TM) says this was a dovecote with wooden top.
