Full description

Deighton Hills marks the site of Dighton deserted medieval settlement.
The name has now almost reverted to its old form, but in (S1)'s time it was known as Dyke Town Hills.

December 1998-April 1999. Watching Brief.
Observations of groundworks for new club house and store at Mid Norfolk Shooting School revealed no archaeological evidence.

April 2001.
Heathland area stripped to build house. Much root disturbance; no features within. A scan of spoil provided no finds.
