Full description
West side of field east of T-junction of field boundaries.
Small square cropmark.
Checked E. Rose, 19 October 1976.
See (S1).
15 July 1996. NLA air photography. NGR amended from TG 2240 2583.
Cropmark of square enclosure still visible, this feature could be interpreted as an Iron Age square barrow.
In addition to this feature is a circular feature at TG 2255 2589, this appears to be a slightly oval ring ditch, with a causeway to the south. This may be Bronze Age in date. Also to the north is an irregular rectilinear enclosure, the ditches of which are quite poorly defined. This feature is centred at TG 2245 2593.
