Full description

10 July 1772.
?Med ring found. Tivetshall. (S1).

This is probably the same (though above reference not available for checking) as the impression in the back cover of (S2) which is of a tree with inscription on a solid gold ring found 10 July 1772 in a ploughed field at Tivetshall St Mary.
It weighed 8 dwts 18. Found by Mr. Morris who gave it to Edward Knight of London. He read the inscription as IBO DOM IN TE, but another version was INTEWODE (Intwood).
