Full description
Straight road pointing towards Saham Toney, suggested by A. K. Gregory (NAU) as Roman.
Visited by E. Rose (NAU) 22 June 1978.
Northern end is lined by large trees, probably planted when 'Clermont' built, but southern end exhibits no remarkable features. However straightness of road on the ground is striking, and its course is continued southwest by the parish boundary (inside the Battle Area).
E. Rose (NAU).
