Summary

Fieldwalking at this location in 1986 recovered prehistoric flint flakes and Roman, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds. Metal-detecting in 2024 recovered Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a post-medieval jetton and a number of other metal objects, including medieval to post-medieval buckles, a medieval strap end and copper alloy seal matrix and a post-medieval mount.
The cropmarks of an enclosure or farmstead have been identified within the vicinity of these finds (NHER 50747).
