Summary
A cylindrical brick water tower constructed in 1884 to aid fire fighting on the Blickling estate. The brick structure stands to a height of approximately 2.5m and is surmounted by a cylindrical metal tank. The bricks themselves bear graffitti dating to the 1940's when the house (NHER 5115) was requisitioned and served as an Officers' Mess for nearby RAF Oulton (NHER 7364). The water tower stands on the top of an early 18th century garden mount (NHER 7406).
