Summary
In 1953 two Roman copper alloy stew pans were found a short distance northwest of Bluestone Station. One was decorated with motifs, while the other had a crescentic hole at the end of the handle.

Full description
1953. On east side of Holt Road 0.25 miles northwest of Bluestone Station.
Two Roman bronze stew pans found in ploughing at depth of 45cm (1ft 6in) in clay.
1. Palisade decoration on band below rim. Ovolo motif on handle and corded border on edge of disc.
2. Crescentic hole in handle end (S1).
