This concrete-framed brick-clad structure was erected in 1939.
A. Cattermole (HES), 22 April 2013.
According to (S1) the Compressor House supports Buildings 5 (NHER 59005) and 14 (NHER 59019) via underground galvanised pipework. The building is presumed to date from the mid-1950s.
