Summary
Metal-detecting between 2005 and 2017 recovered medieval pottery sherds; medieval and post-medieval coins and a number of otherm undated and Late Bronze Age to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include a silver ring of unknown date; a Late Bronze Age socketed axehead fragment; Roman brooches; an Early Saxon brooch; a Middle/Late Saxon strap end; a Late Saxon strap end and probable casket or box mount; a medieval buckle, strap fitting and brooch and a post-medieval harness mount.
