Summary

Metal detecting in this area in 2003 and 2012 recovered a prehistoric flint flake; a medieval coin; a post-medieval jetton and a number of other, medieval to post-medieval metal objects. These metal finds include an undatable fragment of tweezers; medieval possible spur buckles, a lead spindle whorl, lead weight and lead pot mend; medieval/post-medieval buckles, a copper alloy ring and lead weights; a potentially medieval/post-medieval lead vessel repair and a post-medieval belt mount, furniture handle, crotal bell, copper alloy cauldron foot and lead cloth seal.

February 2003. Metal-detecting. [1].
From what was previously three fields (containing NHERs 23782, 24930, 33860 and 35837):
Undatable fragment of tweezers.
1 prehistoric flint flake.
1 medieval coin, 2 possible spur buckles, a lead spindle whorl, lead weight and lead pot mend.
2 medieval/post-medieval buckles, a copper alloy ring and 3 lead weights.
?Medieval/post-medieval lead vessel repair.
1 post-medieval jetton, 1 pottery sherd, drop handle from drawer pull, crotal bell, copper alloy cauldron foot and lead cloth seal.
