Summary
A house and barn on the boundary between Briningham and Gunthorpe. The house dates to about 1600, and is two storeys high with a roof space. It is built of flint and brick but also contains some reused stone, which was possibly taken from Binham Priory after the Dissolution of the monasteries. The north end of the house was reconstructed in the 19th century.
The barn, which has a date of 1713, is of brick and tile, and is a fine example of the period. It has been converted to residential use.

April 1975. Listed, Grade II.
Listing Description Excerpt:
"On the common boundary of the Parishes of Briningham and Gunthorpe. Farmhouse. C17 with C19 alterations. Flint walls with galleting on south and east. Some brick dressings and freestone quoins. Two storey east front has 3 windows mostly of 3-lights each. Cambered ground floor heads."

Listing Description Excerpt:
"Barn. Early C19. Brick with slated roof. Three-stead barn with cart entrance, rising to eaves height to north and south. Horizontal brick plat-bands divide external walls. Brick dentil eaves cornice. East gable with 3 tiers of brick honeycomb pattern ventilation panels. Lean-to flint and brick extension on west gable."
