Metal detecting in 2001 recovered a Late Bronze Age hoard of copper alloy objects, including axes, spearheads, sword fragments and knives. Metal-detecting in 2001 and 2024 recovered a number of other objects, including Roman and medieval coins and a medieval/post medieval harness mount.
