The possible foundations of a Second World War pillbox are seen on aerial photographs. It is suggested that the foundations may have related to a type 22 pillbox dating to around 1940 which use to stand in the middle of a crossroads.

Hexagonal foundations, possibly of a type 22 pill box, dating to around 1940. Stood in middle of crossroads, now destroyed.

The possible foundations of a former Second World War pillbox (see above) are seen on aerial photographs (S1-S3). The possible foundations can be seen faintly on the 1946 (S1) and 1968 (S2) aerial photographs. The possible foundations have been removed by 1999 (S3).
