Summary
Part of a probably Roman but possibly medieval pottery vessel was found by chance at this location in 1970. Subsequent metal-detecting in 2010 and 2022 recovered a medieval coin; a medieval French jetton and an incomplete medieval/post-medieval cast copper alloy pestle.

1970. Stray Find. [1].
Found at depth of about 3 feet [0.9m]:
Pottery sherd; part of base and side Probably Roman but could be an odd piece of medieval ware.
