|Type of record:||Find Spot|
|Name:||Human skeletal remains, pistol|
It is recorded that 'under the great ash tree at Tunstead' a human thigh bone and an 'ancient pistol' were found. It has been suggested that they represent the remains of a suicide burial, though there is no documentation to support this. The exact date and location of this discovery are unclear.
