Name:Intwood Hall

Summary

Intwood Hall stands on the site of a medieval manor. Elizabeth I was entertained at this earlier house. The present building was built around 1835 enclosing earlier work of around 1800. There is a 16th century garden wall and summerhouses and evidence of a post medieval cockpit. The house was owned by the Unthank family from the 19th century until the 1990s.

Full description

On site of medieval hall. Present building of 1835. Enclosing work of about 1800. 16th century garden wall and summerhouses, later altered. Evidence of cockpit.
