Summary

This medieval church has several post medieval features. Much of the church dates to the 14th century, although it was partly rebuilt in the late 15th century and restored in 1884. The chancel was also renovated in 1679. A 14th century timber screen survives, as do a number of 16th and 17th century wooden features.

Full description

Basically about 1300 to 1340, enlarged in Perpendicular period with heightened tower, probably dated by bequest to 1477 to 1480.
Reference to top of tower being rebuilt in 1568 is problematical (S1).
Chancel restored 1679, church restored 1884.
14th century screen. 16th/17th century woodwork. Good 19th century roofs and graffiti.
