This medieval fishpond complex comprises a perimeter ditch enclosing three minor ponds with an additional pond outside the ditch. The fishpond may have been unfinished or doubled as a decoy.

Ditch as shown on (S4) with ?three ponds at west end. No ponds at the east end, where the perimeter ditch is shallower and, in places, level.

February 1996. Visit to ascertain necessity for 1:1000 earthwork survey.
(S5) shows all features sufficiently well for all but the most intensive study. Decision made not to undertake larger scale survey unless specific request from English Heritage or other body.
