Summary
A Roman coin of Antonius Pius was found when trees were planted in the front of the old hall. This coin was struck after the emperor had died and depicts a four storey funerary pyre with the figure of the emperor in a four horse chariot on the top of it.

November 1908. Field directly in front of old Hall when tree planting.
Sestertius of Antoninus Pius.
Obverse: DIVUS ANTONINVS head.
Reverse: / CONSECRATIO - Pyre of four stories surmounted by figure of emperor in four horse chariot.
Struck posthumously in ?161 AD.
