Name:St Swithin's Church, Bintree

Summary

This largely 14th century church has a Norman pillar piscina and colonette and is in Early English and Decorated style although the windows are rather later being Perpendicular and Tudor. The church was restored in 1873. Excavations for drainage works in 1999 found foundations for the pre 1761 chancel walls.
