Full description
Cross - remains of (Ordnance Survey antiquity).
On Cross Hill.
Square base 66cm (26 inches) across, 3.66m (12 feet) deep (presumably mistake for 30 cm (12 inches!)) Socket in centre of bowl nearly 46cm (12 inches) across goes right through base.

Ordnance Survey recorder says although there seem to be two pieces published on (S1), the socket stone (the more northeast piece) only has survived. This has been raised and now stands on a brick plinth.
