Full description

Do not confuse with The Vines (NHER 19654).
Small house aligned roughly east to west, encroaching on curtilage of the Vines.
Clay lump on flint plinth. Central brick stack. Later openings and outshuts. Interior not seen.
Probably early 19th century, certainly pre 1860 when it appears on maps.
Recorded by [1] as an increasingly rare example of a two room clay lump cottage.
