Summary

Metal-detecting in 2004 and 2013 recovered a post-medieval token; as well as Roman and Middle Saxon to metal objects. The metal finds include a Roman lock and copper alloy vessel fragment; a Middle/Late Saxon unidentified gilt copper alloy object; medieval to post-medieval dress accessories; a medieval lead papal bull seal of Innocent IV (dated to 1243 to 1254); and a medieval/post-medieval purse fragment.

September-October 2004. Metal-detecting.
1 Roman lock-bolt fragment and 1 ?plate/vessel.
1 medieval Lead papal bulla (Innocent IV), 1 buckle and 1 composite strap-end.
1 medieval/post-medieval purse bar suspension-loop.
1 post-medieval token.
