August 2004. Walkover Survey.
Rapid Earthwork Identification Survey following destumping (Compartment 3133).
Pit measuring c.25m by 20m and 2m deep. Probably a post-medieval marl, clay or chalk extraction pit.
Appears to correspond with a feature marked on the 1st Edition O.S map.
