Unusually large house for its isolated situation on the marshes. Suggestions of a possible timber frame.
Present building of around 1700, unusual plan.

Listing Description Excerpt:
"House. c1700. Rendered brick with thatch roof and coped gables. Brick left ridge and rendered brick right end stacks. L-plan with wing to rear right, the main range a 3-unit baffle-entry plan. Single storey and attic. Four-window range of 1-, 2-, and 3-light casements with 3 similar dormers over."
