Summary

Metal detecting and fieldwalking between 1995 and 2012 recovered finds dating from the Iron Age to the post medieval period. These include a Bronze Age palstave; medieval coins, a heraldic pendant, an unusual 'm'-shaped brooch or harness fitting and a strap-end plus a post medieval jetton. Pieces of possible Iron Age or Early Saxon, Middle Saxon, medieval and post medieval pottery were also found.
