Full description

Spring 1969. Stray Find.
Found while drilling sugar beet (surface find) on newly ploughed parkland:
Iron Age copper alloy bridle-bit ring with decorative horses head. See drawing (S1).
Possibly of developed Villanovan/Etruscan type - see correspondance (S2) in file and sketches (S3) of similar objects depicted in (S4).
Purchased by Norwich Castle Museum (NWHCM : 1971.278).
