Full description

19 July 1996. NLA air photography.
What appears to be a large rectangular enclosure, with the north, east and south sides visible as cropmarks.
A light band with darker edges passing through the enclosure is likely to be a road, possibly leading towards Brampton, i.e. dating from the Roman period.
M. Brennand (NLA), 9 May 2001.
