Full description
22 June 1975. Ordnance Survey air photography.
Positive cropmarks. Ring ditch.
See aerial photographs (S1) and (S2).
D. Voisey (NLA), 9 March 1995.
December 2018. Breckland National Mapping Programme.
A ring ditch of possible Bronze Age date is seen as a cropmark on aerial photographs (S3). The size of the ring ditch suggests that this feature may have related to a former Bronze Age round barrow. The feature is situated in close proximity to a large area of geological cropmarks.
The mapped extent of this feature has been expanded from a point to a polygon [1].
J.Powell (Norfolk Historic Environment Service), 13 December 2018.
