Late Saxon coin, see list in file.
Medieval part of stirrup. Two pieces of cast bronze which join to form part of the attachment loop for the stirrup leather, plus some of the sides of the stirrup. All the exterior faces of the sides and loop are covered with randomly applied incised lines which look almost like wood graining. The internal faces are undecorated.
