Name:Prehistoric flints and medieval pottery

Summary

A Neolithic flint arrowhead, many Late Bronze Age/Iron Age worked flints (including a scraper and a knife), a prehistoric burnt flint and four fragments of medieval pottery were found during fieldwalking of a destumped area of forest. The work was carried out as part of the Thetford Forest Survey.

Many flints including knives.
Two periods - Neolithic and Late Bronze Age/Iron Age.
Identified by P. Robins (NAU).
One pot boiler.
Four medieval sherds.
