Summary

Metal detecting recovered a range of finds dating from the Roman to the post medieval period. These include a Roman Dolphin brooch, an Early Saxon square-headed brooch and wrist clasp, a Middle Saxon square pommel cap, a Middle Saxon equal-armed brooch, a Late Saxon buckle pin, a medieval binding/mount fragment and a post medieval coin weight. Six medieval coins and a post medieval token were also found.
