Summary

Metal-detecting recovered finds dating from the Iron Age to the post-medieval period. These include an Early Saxon disc brooch, two medieval bronze finger rings, a medieval pilgrim's flask (ampulla), a medieval bronze strap mount and a post-medieval bronze mini-sundial finger ring. Roman, Middle Saxon and medieval coins and tokens were also found. Pieces of Iron Age, Roman, Late Saxon and medieval pot were recorded. Metal-detecting in 2009 recovered a medieval copper alloy buckle, medieval/post-medieval copper alloy chafing dish and a post-medieval buckle.
