This unique World War Two defence post was made of two layers of sandbags with the gaps between them filled with concrete. Steel rods held the sand bags in place. The sandbags have now disintegrated but the concrete and steel rods are intact.

Unique World War Two Defence Post, formed of two layers of sandbags with the interval filled with concrete. Sandbags have disintegrated but concrete and steel rods are intact. Stands in private conservation area between rivers.
