Metal detecting finds suggests that there may be an Early Saxon inhumation at this site. Early Saxon finds include a buckle, a brooch and a very important pyramid mount from a sword belt. Other objects recovered include Neolithic flint artefacts, Roman coins, Roman pottery, a Roman brooch and an unusual medieval German coin.
