Summary

Fieldwalking recovered pieces of Roman pot including one fragment of East Anglian Colour Coated pot. In 2009 a number of metal finds dating to the Romano-British, medieval and post-medieval period were also recovered by metal detectorists. Metal-detecting in 2010 recovered Neolithic worked flints, Romano British bowl rim, furniture fittings, weights, medieval pottery sherds, harness mount, buckle, mounts, medieval/post-medieval vessel leg, shoulder bolster from whittle-tang knife, post-medieval finger ring and window came.

Full description

Early 1995, in field not separated from NHER 20519 by hedge, fence or ditch. Generally located finds, rapid fieldwalking. Field 32.
Roman greyware: one bowl/dish rim, one base, four body sherds, one body sherd with oxidised surfaces.
One Roman colour coated, East Anglian.
