Full description

February 1995. Field 27.
Sixty four sherds and scraps, probably all Iron Age, predominantly sandy, some gritty, all iron-stained, including one flat slightly raised base. One body sherd with horizontal grooves, one ?bowl rim, one rim fragment.
Some sign of burnishing/smoothing.
Location of finds within field to follow.
