Summary

Fieldwalking and metal-detecting between 1993 and 2018 recovered prehistoric worked flints including a borer, flake and retouched flake and a Neolithic retouched flake; Roman, Late Saxon, medieval and post-medieval pottery sherds; Roman, medieval and post-medieval coins; a medieval jetton, and a silver counter or jetton reused as a pendant or medallion; and Late Saxon to post-medieval metal objects. The metal finds include Late Saxon/medieval stirrup strap mounts; a medieval strap-end, buckle, and gilt copper alloy unidentified object; medieval to post-medieval copper alloy vessel fragments, a weight and a book fitting; and a post-medieval buckle, and lead weight.
