Summary

A possible undated ring ditch and the cropmarks of undated field boundaries and a droveway are visible on aerial photographs taken in 1989. RAF aerial photographs taken in 1946 show that the ring ditch cropmark actually relates to a Second World War bomb crater.

July 2011
RAF aerial photographs taken in 1946 show that the possible ring ditch cropmark rekates to a large bomb crater in an area of allotments (S2). It is possible that it was mistakenly aimed at the nearby prisoner of war camp NHER 55867.
