Name:Medieval occupation site

Summary

Fieldwalking as part of the Fenland Survey recovered a few prehistoric worked flints and pieces of medieval pot. A concentration of medieval pot, shell and bone was identified. This is evidence for medieval occupation. Later fieldwalking and metal-detecting between 1994 and 2014 recovered medieval and post-medieval coins, a post-medieval jetton and medieval to post-medieval buckles, medieval horse harness pendants and a post-medieval sword belt mount.
