Name:Site of Roman building

Summary

Fieldwalking and metal detecting between 1987 and 2012 has recovered a dense scatter of Roman floor and roof tile as well as Roman coins, pottery, brooches and other metal objects. The pottery includes high status Nene Valley Colour-Coated Ware. A high quality Neolithic flint chopper was also recorded. The finds suggest that this is the site of a Roman building.
